"The Black Depths of Ladoga" documentary

Between Novaya Ladoga and the settlement of Ladozhskoye Ozero, Marine Geodesy specialists and Divo club divers discovered a wreck at a depth of 18 metres. It resembles a wartime barge approximately 55 metres long and 15 metres wide.
Underwater photographs and footage formed the basis of Dark Depths of Ladoga: Expedition of Remembrance, supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The film uses 3D vessel models, animated maps, recollections and archive material. It premiered on the 80th anniversary of the complete lifting of the Siege of Leningrad.
