MPV "Geolog Pechkurov"

Geolog Pechkurov is intended for research in the White, Barents, Kara and Laptev seas and is based in Arkhangelsk.

The vessel has seawater desalination and wastewater treatment systems, stern mooring arrangements for small boats, boarding ladders and communications between the bridge and stern. Accommodation and working spaces, including the bridge, have heating and air conditioning.

It carries lifesaving equipment, a six-person rescue boat and the required vessel documentation. Crew watchkeeping supports round-the-clock operations, while provision stores and freezers provide food storage for the working period.
