In 2022, Marine Geodesy supplied, supervised installation and commissioned seven automated hydrographic systems on new Project 3330 survey vessels. The systems were based on Reson SeaBat IDH T20R multibeam echo sounders with INS20.
The work included measurement of offsets, creation of PDS2000 projects, system calibration and customer staff training.
A further four survey vessels equipped with hydrographic systems for river survey teams entered service in 2023.
Results of the project
Eleven automated hydrographic survey systems were commissioned.
