It is specially suitable for complicated subsea geological conditions. It is a mid-sized (≤5 tons), seabed system that integrates sampling (static pressure and vibration coring) and in-situ testing (CPT). The static pressure is realized by a double friction wheel to grip the sampling tube, allowing for high-fidelity sampling. In sand layers where static pressure penetration is challenging, vibration coring function could be open by the operator, enabling efficient sand sampling.
